As an Engagement Manager, you'll help shape the digital way forward for Google’s clients. Our team is formed from technical thought leaders, addressing complex business challenges with solutions. In partnership with sales leaders, you'll help clients incorporate technology into their strategy. Leveraging high technical aptitude and in-depth industry knowledge, you'll provide consulting and client service. The team has an entrepreneurial culture, and you will be ready to leverage and apply your passion for Professional Services, Technology, Consulting, Business Strategy, Data, Change and Project Management. Minimum qualifications:
* MBA or equivalent practical experience.
* 5 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or professional consulting.
* Experience working in business organizations, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and negotiating solutions.
* Experience with Google’s platforms/technology or digital operations.
Preferred qualifications:
* Experience working in the digital advertising industry or 5 years of consulting experience in a technology-related field.
* Ability to develop internal and external stakeholder networks and build relationships necessary to deliver against strategic plans and projects.
* Ability to speak the industry’s language and understand the business and technical constraints.
* Ability to have close working relationships and networks with leaders at companies.
* Excellent technical project management skills, enabling multiple cross-functional teams to deliver against plans.
* Excellent communication skills and proven ability to adapt messages to both technical and business audiences.
Responsibilities
* Solve business challenges for Google’s key clients serving as a technical consultant, leader and visionary, both internally and externally as a collaborative and inclusive thought partner. Become a trusted advisor for customers and internal stakeholders.
* Partner with sales and clients to establish a technical roadmap to accomplish joint business plans.
* Oversee complex global, multi-product projects and support multi-product solutions for Google strategic advertisers, as well as overseeing scaling of custom client solutions.
* Lead gTech teams and cross-functional partners through informal authority, providing consulting services focused on achieving business goals through the use of technology.
* Speak the client's language being the front line of gTech.
