Google Careers: Field Sales Manager, Google Cloud _ APPLY NOW
Minimum qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 8 years of experience in an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and/or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) sales role.
Preferred qualifications:
* 12 years of Field Sales experience within the technology industry, promoting Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and/or Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS).
* 5 years of experience overseeing and driving a group.
* Experience promoting cloud computing technologies to large and sophisticated organizations across geographies.
* Understanding of knowledge and networking technologies, the worldwide cloud computing market, and key drivers for growth within the target industry segment.
* Comprehension of how various cloud innovations work together to drive deeper innovation adoption within the prevailing large account base.
Responsibilities
* Lead and implement go-to-market propositions during a given business sector; work with Marketing, Demand Management, Solutions, and merchandise and Engineering teams to supply a focused proposition.
* Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term strategic direction; act as an advisor to the customer.
* Work with wider Google Account teams to develop and drive pipeline, and to supply guidance.
* Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Marketing resources to supply input on current collateral materials and concepts on the way to improve them to maximize the Google Cloud Platform during a given team. Work towards strategic business goals.
* Build a pipeline of consumers within selected verticals.
